At CreatorsCart, we respect your right to control your personal data. This page provides clear instructions on how to request deletion of your data from our platform, including data associated with Instagram automation features.

We are committed to processing all data deletion requests within 30 days of receipt.

What Data Can Be Deleted

You can request deletion of the following data:

Account Data

  • Account information (name, email, username)
  • Profile information (bio, profile picture, contact details)
  • Storefront data (products, categories, branding)
  • Analytics and usage data

Instagram Data

  • Instagram connection information (user ID, username)
  • Instagram access tokens (encrypted)
  • Automation rules and templates
  • Automation event logs and analytics
  • Synced Instagram posts and media
  • Product attachment data
  • Comment and message logs

Data We May Retain

For legal, security, or operational purposes, we may retain certain data for a limited time:

  • Transaction records (for tax and accounting purposes)
  • Security logs (for fraud prevention)
  • Aggregated, anonymized analytics data

Method 1: Delete Your Account (Recommended)

The fastest way to delete your data is to delete your CreatorsCart account directly from your dashboard:

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Log in to your CreatorsCart account

    Visit creatorscart.com/login and sign in

  2. Navigate to Account Settings

    Click on your profile icon and select "Settings"

  3. Disconnect Instagram (if connected)

    Go to "Instagram Automation" and click "Disconnect Instagram Account"

    This will immediately delete your Instagram access token and stop all automation

  4. Delete Your Account

    Scroll to the bottom of Settings and click "Delete Account"

  5. Confirm Deletion

    Read the confirmation message and confirm your decision

  6. Receive Confirmation

    You will receive an email confirming your account deletion

⚠️ Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data, including products, storefronts, automation rules, and analytics, will be permanently deleted.

Method 2: Request Data Deletion via Email

If you cannot access your account or prefer to request deletion via email, follow these steps:

Email Request Instructions:

  1. Send an email to our data deletion team

    Email: privacy@creatorscart.com

  2. Use the subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
  3. Include the following information in your email:
    • Your full name
    • Email address associated with your CreatorsCart account
    • Username (if you remember it)
    • Instagram username (if you connected Instagram)
    • Reason for deletion (optional)
  4. Verify your identity

    We may ask you to verify your identity by responding from the email address associated with your account or providing additional information

  5. Wait for confirmation

    We will respond within 5 business days to acknowledge your request

  6. Deletion completion

    Your data will be deleted within 30 days, and you will receive a confirmation email

Instagram Data Deletion

If you connected your Instagram account to CreatorsCart and want to delete only Instagram-related data:

Option 1: Disconnect Instagram

  1. Log in to your CreatorsCart account
  2. Navigate to Dashboard → Instagram Automation
  3. Click "Disconnect Instagram Account"
  4. Confirm disconnection

This will immediately delete your Instagram access token, deactivate all automation rules, and delete synced posts and analytics data.

Option 2: Revoke Access via Instagram

  1. Open Instagram app or website
  2. Go to Settings → Security → Apps and Websites
  3. Find "CreatorsCart" in the list
  4. Click "Remove" to revoke access

This will prevent CreatorsCart from accessing your Instagram account. We will automatically detect the revocation and delete your Instagram data.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I recover my data after deletion?

No. Data deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once your data is deleted, it cannot be recovered. Please ensure you have exported any data you want to keep before requesting deletion.

Will deleting my CreatorsCart account affect my Instagram account?

No. Deleting your CreatorsCart account will not affect your Instagram account in any way. It will only disconnect the integration and delete data stored in CreatorsCart.

What happens to my automation rules when I disconnect Instagram?

All automation rules are immediately deactivated and will be deleted along with your Instagram connection data. No further automated messages will be sent.

Can I delete only specific data instead of my entire account?

Yes. You can disconnect your Instagram account to delete only Instagram-related data while keeping your CreatorsCart account active. For other specific data deletion requests, please contact us at privacy@creatorscart.com.

How do I export my data before deletion?

You can export your analytics data from the Analytics dashboard. For a complete data export, please contact support@creatorscart.com before requesting deletion.

What if I don't receive a confirmation email?

If you don't receive a confirmation email within 5 business days, please check your spam folder. If you still haven't received it, contact us at privacy@creatorscart.com with your request details.
